Musselroe Bay

We first saw this piece of land in 2006 and over the years have visited on numerous occasions, hopeful that one day we would get to build holes out here.

Musselroe is on a remote property in the North East tip of Tasmania… about an hour and a half further east than Barnbougle dunes.

First developed as a cattle property, the 5000 acre site features gently rolling sand dunes, some what reminiscent of Kingston Heath in Melbourne.  But in the North west corner sits around 1500 acres of pure heathland, close to the water and over some of the higher dunes on the property and our new design looks to take in this part of property.  We hope to build a course here reminiscent of the best of the heathland courses in London….Swinley Forest (one of our favourites), West Sussex, Walton Heath and of course Sunningdale.

The design is currently in planning with a hope that work will commence in early 2021.
